Open Spatial's enlighten is a web based GIS which utilises Autodesk MapGuide Technology and an Oracle Spatial Database to store your organisations Spatial Data. Open Spatial's enlighten provides your organisation with a powerful Web Based GIS Solution that enhances each employee's ability to make informed decisions.

The following are some of the new features available in this release of enlighten:

Dynamic Search  The administrator can add their own custom searches to this list using Search Setup facility on external corporate systems and display the corresponding map entity in enlighten!  These searches can be built across tables and relationships.  The results of searches and selections can be saved and used in subsequent searches.  This enables the users to perform sophisticated analysis on all corporate data.

Network Trace can be performed on water, recycled water and sewer networks. It has been improved and extended to include `Stop Predicates' and Shut Off reporting for Fault Locations and Incident reports.

Printing has been improved, now providing General Plotting and Template based Plot Applications delivering high quality plotting, printing to scale, on A4 to A0 paper - all from the browser. The print templates are customisable, and a print preview facility integrated with Microsoft word. Enhancement to Plotting Application In addition the Plot Application API delivers this plotting from 3rd party Applications, like Asset Management or `Dial before you Dig'.

Redlining has been updated to allow users to define and share their own redlining layers. The new redline interface allows you to change properties such as color, style, thickness, font and font size and change location of existing redline objects. 

Integration Interface  to interface with third party applications.  Standard integrations with a range of Corporate, Asset and Document management systems are available.

Administrators can perform all Site, Map, User and Log administration tasks through an easy to use web interface.
